About Us
We are a non-profit community service, run by a committee of volunteers and two part-time librarians. The library is funded through annual membership subscriptions, toy rental fees, grants and income from fundraising.
A strong, dedicated and enthusiastic committee is essential to the effective running of any toy library and OSMPTL has been blessed with the strength, abilities, knowledge and sheer determination of our committee members.
After the September 2010 earthquake, we moved the toy library 5 times, over 5 years. We were delighted to move back to our original home in Sandwich Road, in April 2016.
